Dictador Solera Ultra Premium Reserve 12-Year

Son grand frère de 20 ans est un de mes favoris. Celui-ci n'a pas toute sa richesse et complexité, mais il se compare avantageusement à beaucoup de ses vis-à-vis de "12 ans". Par contre, même s'il veut la peine de payer les quelques dollars de plus que pour le 10 ans, il est un peu (trop?) cher... L'El Dorado 12 ans, à presque la moitié du prix, procurera un même plaisir (ou presque, selon vos goûts)...

this is a great rum if you like butterscotch. no burn in the back. just a mellow butterscotch flavor. its one of a few on my must have rums.

Drinkt makkelijk weg. Niet al te scherp, mag iets zoeter zijn wat mij betreft.

I have only just started my rum obsession but tried this at the Hilton in Sydney and loved it. Smokey flavour with hints of caramal was so amazing. Will forever be the rum that started my obsession!

Compared to the Dictador 10 year, the 12 year is more complex, with a touch of coffe and caramel, whereas the 10 year is softer, sweeter. I prefer the 12 year, still, since we can not give 'half' points, I rate this also with a 6 (a 6,5...)

Buon profumo, da bere liscio. Molto dolce. La nota alcolica è ben mascherata, per nulla impegnativo.

I was really looking forward to trying this but I really didn't enjoy it at all.

This is a good sipper, I get the coffee and chocolate. Sweet but nit too sweet.

This one surprised me with a smooth chocolate/coffee aftertaste. It's aroma is on point. Not too sweet and also not too harsh. I am looking forward to trying out the 20yr bottle :)

Он черт возьми очень сладкий. Это первое что ты чувствуешь. Это очень мягкий Ром, приятный аромат, но главная его характеристика это все же сладость.
Он понравиться молодым девушкам, женщинам. Лично для меня он через чур сладкий. Вкус алкоголя не чувствуется совершенно. Он словно ликёр градусов 20...
