Dictador Orange 100

not bad but not so great.
100 months is more than 8 years, but don't expect to explore complexity or wood.
Strong nose, balanced orange, not that sweet not that bitter.
Nice for mixing, baking, and good with some ice cubes and a soda as an afternoon long and refreshing drink.
personally i like dictador family. especially 12y. 100 months orange i think is a member of the family by the mean of balance and bittersweet taste.
The price is ok so it worth to give it a try.

RO: un rom dezechilibrat la fel ca la insolent, pastrand proportiile de calitate si vechime. se simte ca i un rom tanar dar macar aici stim clar cat e de vechi )) pe cand la celelalte nu stim fiind in sistem solera ).
este interesanta aroma de coaja de portocala dar e foarte pronuntata, acopera prea mult acel superb gust Dictador si cred ca aici pierde pentru ca nu mai are profunzime.

si totusi se simte si acel subton Dictador si asta il plaseaza totusi destul de sus in lista mea, este intre 7 si 8 dar l am notat cu 8 pentru ca e la egalitate din punct de vedere calitativ cu multe dintre romurile notate de mine cu 8 pana acum si le depaseste pe majoritatea notate cu 7.

este un rom gustos si si a meritat investitia din punctul meu de vedere. nu a existat niciun rom de la dictador care sa nu mi placa pana acum si deja am gustat destule , singurele care nu cred ca si merita investitia sunt insolent si perpetual pentru diferenta mare de pret si mica in ceea ce priveste calitatea fata de dictador 20. Acum sunt curios daca merita investitia in dictador 100 cafe avand in vedere ca s diferente mici de pret si ambele se axeaza pe cafea.. vom vedea ))

pot spune ca dictador reprezinta o garantie a gustului si a calitatii, recomand.

EN: an unbalanced rum as well as insolent, keeping the proportions of quality and age. it feels like a young rum but at least here we know clearly how old it is)) while at the others we don't know being in the solera system).
it is an interesting orange peel aroma but it is very pronounced, it covers too much that superb Dictador taste and I think it loses here because it has no depth.

and yet it also feels that undertone Dictador and that still puts it quite high in my list, it is between 7 and 8 but I marked it with 8 because it is qualitatively equal with many of the rum in my notes with 8 so far and exceeds the majority marked with 7.

it is a tasty rum and it was worth the investment from my point of view. there has been no rum from dictador that I don't like so far and I have already tasted enough, the only ones that I don't think are worth the investment are insolent and perpetual for the big price and small difference in terms of quality compared to the dictator 20. Now I'm curious if it's worth investing in dictator 100 cafe and dictador 12 considering the small price difference and both focus on coffee .. we'll see))

I can say that dictator is a guarantee of taste and quality, I recommend.

This rum is smooth when drinking neat, but the orange flavor seemed a bit artificial to me. There is a strong orange flavor at first, but it still has the rum taste. My girl really liked it, but I didn't. Would not buy this one.

Hmmm,érdekes dolog ez,mert a narancsot ,kandírozott formában is szeretem,de nem ezt a fajta ízvilágot. Hozza a megszokott magas minőséget a rum,de nekem a lecsengése kellemetlen. Nem az én ízlésvilágom. De pl sima cólával és egy narancs gerezdel zseniális long drink!

This is a decent orange encoperated rum ... I love the flavours but feel the rum could do with some barrel aging ...

It had a nice taste, quite ballanced, but flavored,not my thing

N- Fresh pressed orange juice, now this one surely nose more like a liqueurs than rum. Citrus-y, vanilla with just touch of floral underlay. Some wood chip smokes whirling around the salty tang with whiff of oat. Lighter and charmer compared to the thick Cafe. (84/18)

P- Light and tasty, destined as a good mixing component with good dose of vitamin C without excessive sugar. (83/18)

F- Medium, feeling more peels now with tinge of bitterness, nutty and lightly oily. (84/18)

B/B- 84/18. Probably better than Cafe on getting rid off the weird floral nuance.
