Kraken Black Spiced

Of course for $25-30 you aren't going to get top shelf, but it's the best at that price and more easily found than the real good stuff. It's just a bit sweeter than typical, despite the color, it doesn't taste overly spiced or flavored. All in all, solidly drinkable without breaking the bank.

This rum is a dark not sipping spiced with a kick in it that if you want to feel something at the end of the night this is the one for you

Very moreish rum with caramel taste. Neat on the rocks is way forward.

This one is smooth enough that it could be drank neat, but it definitely has a bite to it. Price point is low enough that I have no problem using it as a respectable mixer. Nice flavor overall. Not too sweet and a nice mix of spices.

I like this one with coke, 7up, Dr. Pepper, or any fruit juice. A great mixer. A step up from captain Morgan's.

A bit more than a well rum, just like Captain. I've had it several times it's not my favorite but it will do the trick.

Better than any Captain spiced rum IMO. Good mixer and packs a punch

Not a bad rum, but too dark for me. Even overpowering in mixed drinks.
