Oak, some smokiness, … I guess that’s all?

Standard aged mixing rum.

I feel like an earlier release was better (~2013). I remembered earthy tobacco notes. I had higher hopes.

Fully possible to enjoy on the rocks, but better in a cocktail

Tried on the rocks, but ended up mixing with ginger ale. Not one of my favorites.

The Cuban rum producers have sold themselves well as far too many people think that they are the best. Soft and easy drinking, but there isn't much depth and sophistication. Tastes a little mass produced. It's OK but unexciting and one that I doubt I'll ever buy again. For the price (UK about £23) there are many other rums that offer so much more.

Not the same as U.S. produced Havana Club. If you don't know the story, look it up! A somewhat rough low end rum.

Tabaco flavour. Not very sweet. Small finish. Prety descent.

Perfetto per cuba/libre... ma non da degustare.. buono x mix.

Not fantastic but better than entry level. Would drink in a bind, as the rating says.
