Medium to light body makes this a very unassuming rum. Hard to dislike but also hard to fall in love with at the same time. Breeze of oak and clove. Doesn't try very hard but doesn't accomplish much either.

This is a good one, easy to drink and a good noose.

This is s decent sipper, but also not bad with a splash of cola! Sipped on ice last night and was surprised that a 5 year old could be as smooth as this! Tried with cola tonight and it was quite enjoyable as well! Good, cheap, all around rum! Would not be scared to buy it again!

Like Appleton Estate VX but better! It is almost like a sweet single malt at first, followed with that long rummy treacle/caramel finish. Tasty and does well straight or mixed,

The ten-year rum from English Harbour seemed more dry than this one. Its aroma is quite pleasant. No harsh alcohol astringency. A beautiful medium amber color. A sweet flavor with molasses and vanilla taste and just a hint of toffee. A rather nice warmth rather than a harsh burn. A bit thin in consistency. Definitely tingles the tongue. Quite good stuff. Works as a sipper as well as a mixer. A very good versatile rum. Quite nice if you can find it.

Rhum de dégustation, sec, travaillé de manière "anglaise"...similaire à un appleton...à découvrir !

This goes well in mixed drinks, and is good to sip as well.

Love this rum for the cost. Neighbor bought me a bottle to try and I loved it. Very mellow and smooth. Enjoy with soda and you can't go wrong for the price.

It's a nice rum, tried it straight but not quite good enough to enjoy just like that. Good mixer with cola

Dry rum with some bite to it.

Some rums have a very clearly definable taste. Not this one.

It's a good dry sipping rum, which probably won't be on my top shelf. But for a rum in this pricerange, definitely go get it if you want an alternative to all the sweetness.

I somehow imagine that this was what the sailors drank. An unremarkable but still quite good sip.
