El Dorado 21 is produced near the equator in Guyana by Demerara distillery. The final product is a blend of rums, aged between 21 and 25 years and crafted using 100% locally sourced Demerara sugar. Traditional tools are used in the distilling processes including three unique wooden stills. The rums rest until maturity in 45 gallon oak casks.

Dark mahogany color, very rich looking. Notes of caramel, molasses, and spice on the nose, spicy and sweet on the tongue, with a splendid peppery finish. Little on the pricey side for me as a normal usage rum, but if you get a chance to try it, you'll enjoy it I'm sure!
Meilleur de la famille El Dorado, belle chaleur, bel équilibre, épices, délicieux. Mais compte tenu de son prix, je ne le note pas plus haut.
Best of El Dorado family, beautiful warmth, beautiful balance, spices. But considering its price, I do not note it higher.
It's great. Exceptional. Almost too rich and savory. A little nutty.
Dejlig rom med velbalanceret sødme og aroma. tror det er en rom som først rigtigt sættes pris på når man har været igennem de noget sødere rom og begynder at sætte mere pris på smagsnuancer.
The only of the "El Dorado" line I will buy for my collection
Good nose with lots of rum raisin. Flavor is a bit of a letdown compared to the nose. A good rum, but not awesome.
Good it is, great? ... is it so much better than 15 years EL?
Had this shipped to me to enjoy family coming in from out of state. Very complex taste. So many tasty treats to be had! Hint of vanilla, tobacco, brown sugar, various nuts and caramel. Very very good and very very enjoyable for a relaxing evening.
I may not be and expert but man this stuff is smooth and delicious. A little pricey but well worth the money. A special occasion rum for me.
'spice nose with hints of honey and dark sugar'
"El Dorado 21-Year rum review by The Ultimate RumGuide"
There is an extra layer of oak in the profile.
"Notes of oak and a slight spiciness also comes through. The rum is very smooth and easy drinking but complex enough to ensure you savour each sip of the drink. The finish is long lasting."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This has such a different flavor profile than anything else in my collection. Almost tastes a little musky, a hint olivey. Must be those heritage stills they use... It's a great one to round out your bar with something a little different, and very interesting.
