Dos Maderas PX 5 + 5 rum is made from a combination of rums from Barbados and Guyana. It is unique becuase of its triple ageding process where for 5 initial years the rum is aged in the Carribean in oak casks. Next PX 5 + 5 is aged in Spain for 5 years in sherry casks, and lastly for 2 more years in even older sherry casks.
The Dos Maderas family of rums are produced by Bodegas Williams & Humbert, which is a well known Spanish winery founded by Sir Alexander Williams in the late 1800s. The region of Spain where the winery is located has a climate perfectly suited for wine and is known as Europe's wine cellar.

Un rhum a goûter absolument, belle couleur et smooth
Surprisingly great rum, on the similar level as my favourite ones: 12yo Diplo and 23yo Zaca... Recommended!

very smooth rum, great combination of taste and aroma. gently aromatic but very specific. no strong alkoholic taste. i would like to recommend this rum to everybody. taste of sugar but not agresive.

Nice dark ambet with a sweet bouquet. Let it breath for a few to calm down the burn. Great straight or on the rocks.

This Rum to say the least is very complex, but in a good way, from the nose to the finish it changes and takes on several different dimensions all of which are favorable. On the nose you can smell all the various tastes you will experience during the indulgence. The finish is the best part because the flavor just hangs in your mouth for several minutes. This is by far one of my top 10 rums and for the money spent worth every penny.

Ganz was besonderes! Durch seine besondere Lagerung erhält er einen unverwechselbaren Geschmack, etwas das man für seine guten Freunde aus dem Schrank holt
so far the best, compairing price and quality. when i order different rums there is always also one bottle of this rum in my order
