Gosling's Black Seal

One of my favorites... Dark and smokey, no ice needed.

Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-year

One of my favorite bondes... Smooth and clean.

Zaya Gran Reserva 12-year

A good one for drinking straight Had this one chilled and neat. It was full bodied, warm and smooth with a stronger vanilla flavor than most.

Pyrat Cask 1623

hints of cherry Almost like a cordial. Good for sipping.

Pyrat XO Reserve

Hello fruity with warm vanilla Drinking it straight or on the rocks gives you warm drink with a peach cherry hot with vanilla undertones.

Dos Maderas PX 5+5

Nice sipping rum Nice dark ambet with a sweet bouquet. Let it breath for a few to calm down the burn. Great straight or on the rocks.

Cruzan Black Strap

No such thing as an unfinished bottle... Seems like they changed something, it is a lot sweeter now, almost need to cut it with a clear to make it sippable.

My old fav. This was my goto in all occasions, I can't find it anymore. I had to switch to Select.

My new default... This is my new default easy to find rum since I can't get Black anymore.

Smooth and sweet but....floaties? This was a very sweet rum (I've heard that a lot of makers add sugar back into the rum and since it is made from sugar, they don't have to declare it)

Good for sipping It's a nice mellow golden rum, slightly sweet with a clean finish.

El Dorado Special Reserve 15-year

A good finish... The first hit on the front side is a little harsh, a strong alcohol bite. The finish is smooth with hints of vanilla and a strong molasses lingering

Bacardi Ron Solera 1873

a very good sipping rum A smooth balanced rum with a clean lightly sweet finish and little burn.

Mount Gay XO Extra Old

smooth and easy A smooth and easy to drink rum. Leaves you warm without a burn.

Mount Gay Eclipse Black

Very warm, but a good flavor You have to be in the mood to be warmed up to drink this straight, and it will add a hefty kick to any drink you mix it with. That being said, I like

Plantation Pineapple Stiggin's Fancy

Interesting flavors Roasted pineapple aroma melds with the toffee and vanilla. Not over powering because it isn't flavored more like infused.

Smith and Cross Traditional Jamaica Navy Strength

Decent Not as harsh as you would expect. Good flavor with vanilla and caramel flavors.

Bacardi Superior

Good for mixing... Most well is bad, this is a good goto for mixing.

Good blonde if you can't find a brunette It's mellow and clean.

Appleton Estate V/X

My goto for blondes Smooth and easy sipping.

If you like coconut....this is a good start Great for Pina Coladas and other mixed drinks.

Myers's Original Dark

Rum with fire... This is a good standard rum to use if you need something with more kick. Not something I would drink straight.

Appleton Estate Extra 12-year

Middle of the road... Decent flavor with barrel flavor but very little body.

Meh... a good blonde It's okay, nothing special.

Clarkes Court Old Grog

Grog... yeah... it is that Very heavily spiced. For those who are a spiced rum drinker, this will probably be great for you.

Decent mixer A little sweeter than Bacardi, good for mixing.

Plantation Original Dark Double Aged

Okay but a little flat. Caramel but missing the vanilla and molasses notes.

Ugh! I gave away my bottle, it was like turpentine.
