Farba krasna, aroma mi z kraja pripomina "tuzemak" alebo pralinky :D a v chuti to tiez nejak funguje.
Nejaky kokos, nejake ovocie tropicke, ale konkretne to neidentifikujem. Sladky-ostry hrejivy. Ale koniec koncov za 18€. Ked ho nechate trochu otvorit v pohari, tak tam najdeme aj nejaky ten jamajsky funk :D
Vzhladom na moje sucasne skusenosti a cenovu kategoriu, za mna za 6.5.

I am shocked it doesn't get better reviews. I've been trying to find a rum for years that is middle priced and excellent and never found one. I finally settled on Myers Dark rum, until I was introduced to this one when I moved down south. The Liquor Store owner recommended this one say, "It's the only one to buy. It's less expensive, but tastes way better and his best seller." At Walmart it is $16.72 a bottle, crazy cheap.

My Dark rum experience was lacking and I found this to be a very comfortable re-entry into the category. Fits the bill for both sipping and mixing. Nothing too exciting and not going to ruffle any feathers one way or another.

Can definitely pick up the Jamaican influence on the nose and palate. Not sweet, but some barrel notes and funk.

Wood notes on the nose Deep caramel taste but subtle and not too sweet hint of a burn on the finish but quickly mellows out to give a long lasting toffee taste. Would rate higher but every taste is too subtle.

Definitely not sweet, just a touch of burn. Will be good to mix. Not the best sipper, but OK.
