Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

best that plantation offers that i have had sweet and spicey. oak on the back end with a long smooth finish

Tenhle rum ma vsechno a zaroven je velmi dobre sladen, takze zadna slozka nema jednoznacny prim. Sladke tak akorat. Ano, je to dobre, ale mozna jsem cekal dle nactenych recenzi jeste o neco vic.

A little bit lighter than Diplomatico, still rich taste. May be sweet. One of my best daily rum.

not bad rum. reasonable price. something for main stream. little sweet.
One of the best alcohol i have ever tasted.... so far.. You really need to try this awesome rum.

Taste of smoked pineapple, honey mango, banana, coconut. Brings back memories of the caribbean!
Very impressive looking bottle, yet tastefully designed without spiking the price. I can not think of a better value rum than this one.

After reading many reviews of this rum, I wasn't sure what to expect. Those who note coconut on the nose and pallet are spot on. This is sweet (my preferred style), unctuous, syrupy and deeply flavored. So many flavor notes that they're difficult to unpack here, but I get huge coconut, marshmello, honey and apple pie spices that goes on for minutes.

Very nice rum! Good looking bottle, nice deep color and smooth taste. Also surprising fair priced for such excellent product.
