Similar to 2002 version... they are practically same, it has deep flavours & balance sweetness with long aftertaste of light bourbon & cherry aging (nice combination). This is really very nice!!

Had all the things you wanted from a top class rom.
You can definitely smell the sherry finish on this one. Very smooth, none of the alcohol burn. Truly an awesome rum!

I bought the last available bottle. Very generous and tasty. A powerful development of their typical rum.

This is a good rum but I guess each to his/her own. It’s nice but I found the after taste a little harsh with a slightly bitter edge. Not as smooth as others and not much character. 7 for me, no where near a 10.

This one is not a sugar bomb, but still rather a sweet rum. Very woody with notes of sherry, chocolate, dark fruits and spices. Good one.

What a way to round off Christmas Day, sipping this outstanding, smooth, TASTY, rum.

Aroma is rich and full sherry fruit. Same taste follows with wood and dark chocolate at the back. Quite pronounced flavors. I have noticed a lot of unobtainable Venezuela rums showing up in US. Got this and Carupano Solera Centenaria within last month as a stocked item. Anyway I personally like it less than Zafra Master 30 or 21 but it worth keeping around. Different strokes for different folks. It goes into my nightcap rotation. Ohh and nice bottle and paid $80 US.
