Trinidad and Tobago | Spiced | 40% ABV | Column Still (1-4)
Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Served with coke this is a tasty drink. Id recommend a squeeze of lime to take the sweet edge off, but overall a good tipple.
It has almost a syrupy taste which makes it very easy to drink, but with it being 47% it will get you blackout drunk in no time.
Well, for good price sweet rum, but without complex taste, u can drink it as shots.
Really enjoyed this rum. Was a complete surprise when I tried it in a bar. Was slightly hesitant by the overly marketed name and bottle but was totally converted based on taste and mixability. Just an awesome spiced rum and my go to when mixing.
I am not going to buy this one again. Sweet, strong but nothing interesting.. nothing to remember about this rum.. except the bottle.. nothing remarkable..
Nice...............................................
I love the taste of caramel. Everybody Need this stuff 😜
Belle decouverte. Je l aprecie de plus en plus a chaque fois...
A caramel/treacley heavy molasses like smell. .
"There is nothing subtle about the spicing and the caramel flavour makes the rum, to my taste overly sweet."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

My first black rum...not bad, but not outstanding.....or maybe the bottle confused my taste buds and made it taste better.
