Bacardi Gran Reserva 8-Year

I'd probably prefer Havana Club 7 to this as it has a little more richness, but this one is good.

Opened the bottle 1,5yrs ago. Had a sip and thought what the hell is this. Left it alone for some time with my dad emptying half of the bottle during that time. Now opened it and poured a little. Does not smell bad at all! Does not taste bad at all! Should sit in a glass for a minute, because alcohol is still noticeable. Pretty Plantation Grande Reserva and Barbados XO smell-wise, but less sweet and with little coco. That’s a good thing. Actually pretty good on tongue, although it still has a burn. Average rum...but still a bit above average. Bottle says the rum has been coloured. Not sure if naturally or artificially.

This rum is not bad for the price I pay, but since I can add a few more dollars for the 10 year old I’m not really going for this one anymore.

From what i remember i was surprised by smoothness of this rum, but what u would expect when u switch from bozkov and captain morgan. But i cant recall the taste, so its obviously not memorable.

As my first ever bought rum I did not really know what to expect, I thought it was good but not more than that

Den funkar bra i rom och cola och romtryffel eller annan bakning/ godistillverkning.

It tastes like you anticipates when you buy a bacardi but nothing special.

Doesn’t mix well with Cola, but decent neat, or on the rocks.

I resent the trash that is Bacardi, that said this is closer to tolerable then most of their bilge

Po pricichnuti, lehce ovocny nadech. Chut po napiti prijemne sladka, ale zavet bohuzel trochu ostrejsi.
