Not bad, especially for the price, though I actually prefer Doorly's XO over this one. The flavor is drier than the XO and, actually, a little less robust. They are very similar so get whatever's cheapest.

Very strong butterscotch and "rum" flavor. Rather oaky and dry. A tad bitter.

First of all this is a best valute for the price, finally in the Italian market for 27.5€, so you must buy this bottle asap because at that price you won't find anything better. The rum is a very dry bajan rum, a bit harsh at the first sip, not in a bad way. Then it is vert fruity, long in the finale. A lot of oak and vanilla. Not as smooth as the xo and very different from the 12, but a must have in the cabinet.

Carmel color, well balanced and notes of fruit with a hint of sweetness. I have been looking for more of the 12, but found this as my only doorlys option. Not that it is a bad thing. The price per quality is excellent. You can easily spend more, but thst won't necessarily be better.

For the price this is worth the money, smooth enough to sip even if not the best around.

It doesn’t get much better especially at less than $18 a bottle. It’s a bit smoother than the XO. Wish I lived closer to total wine.

Borderline 7/8. Excellent rum, but the XO is like three quid more and worth the extra. Overall delicious but a bit of a Havana Club 7 roughness.

Picked up several Foursquare Doorly’s today while picking up my Foursquare 2008 cask Xlll. The 8 year old surprised me lighter color than the extra aged variants but smooth for a sub $20 rum will be a great mixer yet just on the edge of what I can drink straight. Nice light spice flavor and lingering on pallets nicely. Moving on to XO & 12

Easy drinking. English style. But find it a little flat and dies not have a good finish. Will try to get 14yr old instead.

Na svoj vek veľmi zaujímavý rum, menej sladký. V jeho cenovej kategórii vyniká.

I like the XO of this series best, as the 8 yr adds a little too much barrel aroma and flavor for my palate; nonetheless, it is still a worthwhile addition to your bar for what it brings (Aged Bajan rum) at the price point ($20) for home and pro bartenders. This makes a superior cocktail and is no slouch in the snifter. One note that really stands out is an almost orange-like flavor that hits mid palate and fades slowly, making this an excellent accompaniment for drinks calling for citrus.
