40% double aged no age statement rum
No information about stills, probably mostly column

Nose: Very fruity and sweet, loads of vanilla and caramel, fresh banana and so on
Taste: Light and very sweet, fruitiness is still very persistent but its mostly just fruit candy like, lots of vanilla and caramel, also lots of cinnamon, also some other spices. Very lightly oaky.
Finish: Sugary smooth, doesnt stay for long but no of flavors either.

Overall, not the purest expression of Barbadian rum for sure but it is good and inoffensive, not very interesting but as a mixer, great one in my opinion.

Comfortably one of my favourite rums consumed in the last year. Simply sip with a single piece of ice. Not too sweet, honeysuckle notes and vanilla toffee apple. Well recommended and extremely good value for money and the bottle looks great. About to order another bottle later as I'm about to finish this one.

En fil helt alm god rom fra Barbados som ikke går over i historien men heller ikke koster så meget.

The Grande Reserve has a gentle sweet taste. I can taste a distant hint of vanilla. In contrast to the XO 20th Anniversary this one definitely has a bit of spicy alcoholic taste. But in my opinion it still is a very balanced rum and I don't only like it for mixing but also value it's qualities as a sipper.

Dette er den perfekte rom å blande med pepsi max / cola.
Husk å kjøp to når du første er i butikken, det er jo alltid hygglig å by på en god drink.

Clean and balanced, like a Bajan rum should be. A bit on the young side, but most Bajan rum isn't all that old - 5 years is about where it's at, and if it gets to 12 years, it's positively ancient. Recommend for cocktails, though I've had it neat, and it was enjoyable enough.

I have got two bottles as a gift and finally tried it. Plantation website says it is aged ~2 years at Barbados and ~1 year in Europe. It is young rum and it is obvious here..smell is good and strong, taste is quite thin, not complex, with a quite strong aftertaste. Sweetnes is well balanced but overall I dont like it straight. In mixed drinks, it is okay
