Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold

a good rum that is very often taken for the drinks, although lately not as good as before.

Beginners rum, tasty en sweet.
It's not to bad and pretty cheap also.

I'm rating this as a mixer, not a sipping rum.. which seems to be how everyone rates sub $20 rums. Yes this is a cheaper rum, but the vanilla and spice is really enjoyable. A rum and coke is always delicious with this stuff. But the less pop you use, the worse it gets. Not a strong favor profile, but its made for mixing.

This rum is perfect for a whole evening drinking rum&coke. It's light, easy to drink and doesn't get you totally wasted. It's a good price/quality balance. Both cheap :)

For the price I quite like captain Morgan's it's a steady drink and ideal if your at a gathering as you're not going be to bothered if anybody helps themselves to a glass or 2

I really like this to mix with coca cola. I really hate it when I get rum with Pepsi.

What could go wrong? Add lemon, cola, and even your dog would approve. Try with apple juice for more mixed taste.
