Smak: Orzech włoski, palony karmel, miód, prażone migdały, na końcu kakao oraz kawa rozpuszczalna. Wpływ beczki jest znaczny i dębina jest wyraźnie zarysowana. Znikoma słodycz
Mimo iż nie jest to rum lekki - to mam wrażenie że aromaty nie przytłaczają a raczej sprawiają wrażenie zwiewnych i szybko znikają po przełknięciu. Nie wiem ale pijąc ten rum w wersji 10cio letniej miałem lepsze odczucia - był mocniej zbudowany. Mam mieszane uczucia ponieważ odmiana 10cio letnia trochę mnie rozczarowała swoim ciężkim charakterem, a tu proszę - jest bardzo podobnie. Jeden duży plus - nie jest to słodki rum.
Dałem dla tego rumu kilka szans lecz się sumarycznie się zawiodłem - dla mnie jest zbyt agresywny. Jest pewien plus dla osób nie lubiących rumów słodzonych - ten jest definitywnie pozbawiony słodyczy.

After tatsing Xo and 20 I have to rate 6 even the rum is tasty.. Vanilla, coffee, caramell, honey.
One of the very first more expensive then basic shop rums i have ever tried.
- Nice and smooth
- Coffee and caramel in taste (my personal best in tastes)
- Good Rum to start your experience

Tak tenhle 12ti letý klučina je velmi příjemný na první dobrou a ještě lepší na druhou dobrou. Za 750kč říkám good.

Note: I'm a sipper. My opinion is based on sipping characteristics.
At first, this will blow your head off with the absolutely overwhelming coffee and caramel explosion. It hits you like a bloody train. So hard, you can hardly taste anything else. And this may actually discourage you big time. But sink there a single ice cube and you will get a completely different, well balanced and really pleasant experience.

Very close to 20 y.o. Dictador, but more alcoholic, less whole and denser taste. But still pleasantly fiery and warming.

I've been looking out for Dictador rums for a few years but they seem fairly rare in the UK. Finally got my hands on some of the 12yr and it didn't disappoint! Good rich, dark colour with an amazing nose that's well rounded and strong without any hint of the harshness you'll find in most <£40 rums. The flavour isn't as impressive and doesn't match the smooth nose but does have some strong dried fruit flavours and an unusual peppery aftertaste that make it quite unique and enjoyable.
