Appleton Estate Rare Blend 12-Year

Deși un pic mai spirtos (43%), aromele se disting bine iar Aftertaste-ul subtil încheie bine acest rom plăcut .

Very corpolent and powerfull rum. Smells magnifique, medium aftertaste. Classic jamaican rum.

Pretty good for the price, still a not the smoothest, but a good flavor none the less

I'm not a fan of Jamaican rum so was hesitant to buy this one. Was pleasantly surprised that it was too funky. Nice as a supper but not too expensive for a mix.

This bottle is different from Appleton's 12 year. The Rare Blend offers a different complexity, attempting to be more balanced that the original 12 year the leans more towards the sweeter side of the spectrum. It's a bit dryer too. Still, its a must try.

Molasses and orange notes with a tart finish of oak and almond.

Au nez on retrouve bien l'odeur du chêne dans lequel il est vieilli.
Très généreux en bouche voir un peu trop avec quelque touche vanillé et fruit sec.
Petite touche d'amertume en final mais qui n'est pas assez prononcé pour en faire un rhum d'exception.
