If you like sweet Port finished rum this is the one for you.
It’s really good, but it can’t compete with English Harbour’s Port finished in my opinion.
I will not repurchase it cause my Dom.Rep. shelf is filled with others and from Oliver y Oliver’s Opthimus I prefer the Whisky finished.
Finally I must say, don’t get me wrong, it’s really a great rum especially if you have a sweet tooth.

I had this alongside their whiskey aged rum, and their regular 25 and 21 year rums. I liked this better than the whiskey aged, but not as much as their regular 25 and 21 year rums.

Tastes and smells of honey, sweet molasses, oak, and port. A very nice rum indeed! I rate it a low '9'.

My favorite Port Rum to date is the Foursquare Port Cask Finish, which costs less than half as much.

An excellent rum from the 25-year-old Opthimus series, which is balanced and has an interesting finish. You can really feel the Port wine finish, but it is still subtle.

Pas gekregen, dus na het proeven schrijf ik hier zeker mijn eigen mening.

At the beginning it was excellent, very good smell and good taste, after a month after opening the smell has disappeared and it smells a little too woody. For the cost it's not worth it
