Plantation Pineapple Stiggin's Fancy

Very pineapple forward. A little bit of spice to it but still palatable.

Ananas 🍍, etwas Kokosnuss.
Pina Colada.
Leider auch leicht metallisch, kann aber auch von der Ananas sein.
Insgesamt schon lecker.

Although I am not a fan of the Plantation Original Dark, I really liked this one. The blend with the 3 star and the addition of fresh pineapple gave it another life. Bought it at a discount and I am really happy with my purchase.

It first needs a bit to air down, then it is quite light, the pineapple taste is just barely there. Medium burn..not too sweet.

By now if you have heard of Plantation Rums, you know they are synonymous with: Quality, Flavor, Smooth, Value. This variety is no exception. Tasty and juicy Pineapple along with Caramel and pears fill your taste buds! Nice over ice or mixed with a sipping rum or Cognac for even more drink ability.

The pineapple flavor is very subtle. Works well as an aperitif, but works better in cocktails.
You will think this is a sweet rum but is not it tastes a bit bitter neat.

Definitely think this is the best pineapple rum on the market currently. No artificial "chemical" flavour, just natural full pineapples! Pretty good base spirit as you'd expect from Plantation

Refreshing, my summer favorite, perfect with lemon iced tea.

This is a great way to add some fruity background to a pineapple daiquiri or piña colada. Definitely not a sipping rum, but also not cloying and artificial tasting

This rum is a nice compliment to a dark rum mixer. Much more depth than a white pineapple generic.
