Bought on special so I am not unhappy with the price but was really excited to be trying this. I am glad I could tick it off tbh but not overly impressed. It’s a nice rum, a bit chewy and relative depth on the palate but didn’t inspire me to want to buy again.

A little water down on the finish. Was expecting more from Chairman Reserve.

Coffee nose, deep caramel taste hint of sweetness with medium burn , more than i thought for a 40% abv. Missing the spiciness of traditional st lucia rums

I think it's decent but I like legacy better at half the price

Little disappointed really. Fairly smooth on the rocks. Little bit of wood flavor raisin and not much else. Not overly sweet little dry which are two things I like but just really nothing special. Like i said, it is nice and that is it. As far as St. Lucia rums go HMS Princessa and HMS Royal Oak are unquestionably superior.

Nice rum and enjoyable. But the wood taste reminds me of Canerock. Spicy and lasting long. But not as googd as my favourite Chairman's (Legacy).

Decent rum that tastes of raisins and wood. It reminded me a lot of Doorly's 8, though this one is slightly fruitier, and of course the younger expressions from Chairman's. Good base for boozy cocktails like Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
But to be honest, I kind of expected more for the price (I got it from a German online shop for 37€). Then again, it really does taste similar to Doorly's 8, which I didn't like that much, either, and is actually even more expensive here.

Too acetony and ethanoly for me. I did not feel like the aromas and tastes of caramel came through enough and I was left with only an adequate experience.

EN: ok, chairman s reserve - the forgotten casks.. I wanted to try this rum for a long time, I had read about it somewhere but I couldn't find it; in addition, I already had a good opinion about the rums from San Lucia thanks to Santa Teresa 1796..

and here I found it, and it's a delight).. slightly fruity in smell and slightly sweet , you can also feel the alcohol but it's nice if it has breathed a little, you can also feel the molasses..

in the taste there are several nuances, it's a harmony), the alcohol envelops all the flavors with a balance of authority and tenderness and lets them express themselves, it's slightly sweet but the sweetness comes as if from a ripe pineapple on which vanilla and molasses are placed with a little sprinkled cocoa and cinnamon..

this rum with an oily tinge remind me of plantation penaple taht was a pleasant encounter with pineapple, but that became boring quite quickly because apart from the pleasant taste of pineapple, it had no secret to reveal.. here is a completely different story; the flavors are well defined, each knowing its role and place... it has a rather long aftertaste, slightly bitter and oily, like a dream you remember after waking up... and you want to be there again)

Všechny podobné "elity" celého světa jsou v reálu ta nejpodřadnější subhumanoidní verbež - a v kořalkách to zjevně není o nic lepší.
Never more!
