Chairman’s Reserve The Forgotten Cask 6-11 Years

A lovely story behind the name forgotten Casks. But an average rum at best and a bit pricey for such averageness. A rum that you can easily share with others. Basic taste that tends to a light oaky flavour. Taste not worth paying US $40 which is what I paid when I was in st Lucia. Not in the class of Jamican..Trinidad and Barbados rums

Rich, caramelly, smooth. Nothing outstanding (especially for a St. Lucia rum), but it is very tasty.

Pas mal d arômes qui prennent la bouche, pique légèrement la langue mais le goût de l alcool reste sobre.

To the nose, strong alcohol and burned. Very smoked on the tongue. Mixed with Coke on a 1:4 ratio it's quite nice but still very smokey.

Expected a bit more. Not sure what I didn't like about it but wouldn't order again.

Good rum, but did expect slightly more from it. Taste lastes great, which is great

We had tried the regular and it was nothing special but this is a drastic improvement. I did not want to by the regular one more than once, I would spend the money to by this again.

At my first tasting, it seemed a little over-oaked. Second time, it felt more balanced, and tasty. Third time, oaky and buttery. A solid mature St. Lucian rum, but the oak is the most prevalent feature for me.

Fredh grass, leather and dried fruit on the nose.

Orange peel, oak and burned figs on the pallet.

Medium sweetness.
