Not bad at all and relatively smooth but lacks a certain depth...I couldn't discern any stand out flavour either but that could be me...

Strong but colorful taste, very dark aftertaste. I'll come back to this one..

Excellent supper and cheap enough to make a great daiquiri.

This is what a rum should be. The aroma in the snifter is surprisingly sweet, knowing that there is zero added sugar. The rum is really smooth with an awesome finale. The color is amber. I'm really impressed with the work made by foursquare distillery and Mr Seale. Can't wait to try the xo and the R.L. Seale 10 years. They are not so cheap here in Europe (usually this is around 55€) but surely this was worth every cent.

This recently became available where I live and figured it was worth a try. Easily the best 27 dollars ever spent on a rum. notes of vanilla are present and a touch of oak. The ruby hue looks rick, but I would not say the body is overly rich. I would not necessarily put it up against esoteric cask strengh rums, or those aged in the 18+ year category, but this is a great rum for the price. Expect the price to rise as it gains a following in the USA.

Nice, slightly aromatic fairly light sipping rum.

Light slightly yellow color, pretty, delicate nose...very delicate. Well balanced mouth feel, with a touch of sweetness and evolves into banana and spice. Long rich finish. This is a nice well made rum, which I could happily drink quite a lot of.

You can think of this as either a top-shelf mixer or else a decent sipper (or both). It's not as rich and complex as, say, RL Seale's 10 or Foursquare's Zinfadel, but it'll do for sipping on a quiet evening by yourself. Bring out those other two when you have guests over. (FYI: all of the mentioned rums are Foursquare rums.)

This doesn't mix well but nice enough on it's own.

Típico ron de la isla Barbados. Seco pero con notas frutales. Algo alcohólico, pero agradable en el paladar. Muy buena relación calidad precio, como el Appleton 12 rare blend.

I couldn’t believe the great reviews for such an affordable rum, but this is good stuff. I could make this my everyday rum. I like the slightly sweet vanilla-ey flavor. Not as sweet as Zaya, but not quite as well rounded as plantation 20th or Vizcaya, but it will do just fine

Nose - oaky, orange
Taste - oaky, orange, brown sugar, caramel

Little more oaky and dark than XO, unless I could get this on sale I will just pick XO since I mix a lot.
