Are you guys kidding me?! Ratings of 6, 7, and 8?! Get your taste buds checked or stop drinking at college keg parties. This rum is a mess, a hotter and harsher version of the original.

This is my go to higher proof rum. Lets the glasses flow with 100proof goodness. It slides back easier than its lower proof brother, but packs much more of a punch. Always fun to stand up after a few and really take note of the 100 proof as it smacks you like a scorned ex.

Smooth and sweet and very common. Nice vanilla that goes good with cola. I like it but will probably never buy it again.

Captain Morgan's basic spiced has a ok taste and is smooth to drink with coke as a mixer

Yes, Rums like these are needed. Goes well with Coke or Dr Pepper if anything better is not available.

I like this spiced rum. I like it mixed and on the ice. TO me this is the base line to measure others against :)

Probably my second to last Captain Morgan bottle I will buy. Not that I dislike the captain but I think there are finer rums in life. This is one step above the original but it's not great. I believe this is something younger people drink to impress girls.
