High ester aroma; burned esterish body with fruity, caramel spicy touch. Longer burn in the tail.

Very nice funky Jamaican rum. Nothing stands out compared to other standard Jamaican rums, but great value for the price. Similar to something like a Wray & Nephew, but milder thanks to the light aging.

Cinnamon spice, warm spices taste thru finish. Little brown sugar sweetness, a bit astringent, medicinal, but ok.

8,5:The nose fills us with happiness, when we find the beautiful dried banana typical of the Distillery, lots of sour cherry/cherry, some Jamaican funkiness. Like an ultra-tropical whisky, this emblematic banana envelops the spirit, inviting us into a full-bodied indulgence that smells of gunpowder and exoticism.
With aeration, the fruit becomes finer, fresher, closer to pear or stewed peaches, plums-punchy.A touch of roasting has crept in. Aromas of coffee, caramel and roasted nuts emerge.
8:The palate doesn't disappoint, with a spicy entry and a texture that carries a lightly woody, almost mineral, charcoal grain-agrocole like. It's the charred oak barrel speaking at this point, encouraged by a dark, burnt caramel. At the heart of this caramel are roasted nuts, which themselves cover our copper-tinged dried banana.Just minimum bitterness comes in.
8:The finish is long, lingering on exotic fruits.
Easy for enjoying neat. Why just for cocktails?! Nice price/performance!

Strong molasses notes on the nose. Medium sweet and rich on the palate with a slightly bitter finish. Great for cocktails.

Caramel aroma, caramel taste, a bit of vanilla, pretty strong. Very good every day companion 💪
Totally worth the price 🤑

Funky nose as expected, a bit bitter to be honest, not much development or range of tastes.

Didn't know what to expect from this and was pleasantly surprised. For around $30 this has a lot of flavor, and decent complexity, it tastes more expensive than it is. And, it doesn't really compare to anything else I've tried so it's unique flavor profile is something I'll want to always have in my bar.

Tasted at Tiki Huna on 9-1-23. Pours a beautiful garnet brown color. Aromatic with raisins, plums, and dates all wrapped up in a blanket of hogo. This is hot. Rich overripe fruit flavors that give way to a profound nuttiness- hazelnut and walnut. Palate is thick but not buttery. With a single ice cube, this opens up and releases a smokiness . Great rum!
