Tvrdacky rum s jemnou sladkastou vonou. Vona je sladka, jemna. Chut je sladkasta ale s alkoholovym tonom a dozvukom. Clovek vie ze pije rum, namornicky styl rumu...
Na to ze ide o "23" rocny rum som cakal jemnejsiu chut, menej alkoholovu chut...
Moje hodnotenie, necelych 8 bodov z 10. Cize sa stotoznujem s aktualnym priemerom 7,8 boda.

Nice sipping rum! I get chockolate from this one. Quite sweet mouthfeel and long aftertaste. No need for ice!!

Not as sweet and smooth as expected as e.g. Diplomatico. Has kind of alcohol taste with strange alcohol aftertaste, which I didn't really like. Can't appreciate it, but some people I know likes it, depends on your taste.

nice bottle, nice colour of rhum
Flavour is nice, nit very sweet, caramel, honey oak.
Taste is perfect balanced, oak, honey, little bit of vanilla, Not too sweet, no disturbances in taste...It's typical O&O quality and typical O&O taste.

This is a rum that along with it´s bigger brother gets a lot of hype, so it is of course one that I had to taste. While it did not live up to the high praises it is still a damn good rum.
Nose: Caramel, vanilla and oak
Taste: Thick and smooth sweetness with a lot of volume and body to it
Overall: After all the hype I was initially left a little disappointed, but when I tasted like any other rum, I still found it to be quite good. A little on the sweeter side, but very smooth and pleasant.

The Ron Quorhum brand is very difficult to find this side of the world , i liked the 12 which i bought in NZ so i thought i'll give the 23 a shot.. Lovely colour in bottle but no doubt its been added like most Dom. Rep. rums have. Rich aroma of caramel, toffee and spices.. left in glass for 20 mins as usual , tastes very sweet but not cloyingly so , plenty of heat in the mouth which i like , wood , spices , honey , brown sugar all come through.. nice finish but not long as i expected after the warmth in the mouth.
Typical Oliver & Oliver product , they know how to dress up a rum.. very similar to Ron Esclavo XO and Presidente Marti !9 (without the chocolate )
I brought a bottle of the Quorum 30 back with me from the UK , cant wait to compere it with the 23 as its rates so highly on Rumratings !
