Barcelo Imperial

Was on sale at my local pusher, so why not just buy it? I love sales :D

A sweet nose, golden color and a smooth taste. Nice for sipping.

Was expecting a good rum but i wad dissapointed. It's fruty but way to dry for my taste. Made me think of whiskey more the rum. It's well aged but i just don't like the overall taste palet.

To be honest...sweet at first.. very smooth..no burn..its very very close to Flor de Caña 12... I prefer Flor de Caña..but not by much..and they are the same price

Expected a bit more from this one, still fairly good though. A bit smoother than Barcelo Anejo

This rum has a great smell and the subtle taste will linger in your mouth. It's not a very complex rum but it tastes good! And come on, the bottle and box look great, that must count for something!

Not my favorite one. Ron Barcelo is ok in the nose, but when it comes to sipping this rum, i think it is too much alcoholic and too less of other armoas.
But I will give another try with a drop of water or ice.

Light citrus and orange notes with vanilla and chocolate. Very sweet with some leather notes. A good one but slightly below its big brother.

Great copper color, thin noze with aroma of chocolate and orange. Very well balanced as barcelo's habits. Can be drink straight up or mixed if you prefer.
