This is a nice rum. Not so bad, however, there are better choices out there...
A bit more harsha with nice coconut and nut body. Aftertaste is slightly plainer. Well rounded sipper.
Příjemný bouřlivák, chuťově vyzrálý a příjemný jak na horním, tak na spodním patře. Imperial hodící se do pohody i nepohody.
Rum s neobvyklou chutí, která mi ovšem nijak k srdci nepřirostla.
That's it really, sweet and easy. Nothing pretentious, Sip and enjoy. No complex tones, no heavy aftertaste. a true everyone's friend.
It's not bad, there are a few different flavours and the overall effect is decent; although, it has no identity as it has a really common taste, I also find it a little harsh and is not one of the best rums in this price range. The basis is good but it needs some work.
Ok pour rhum débutant. Bon en cocktail ou en cuba libre.
Klasika. Za ty penize je to solidni rum. Nic uhlazeneho to ale neni.

The nose is light and gentle.
"It’s quite nicely balanced but just a little bit too nice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Let's get the stupid stuff out of the way first. I find it interesting that the way the bottle is shaped and the thickness of the glass makes for a chiming rhythmic sound when you hold it with two fingers by the neck (just below the lip) and drum on the plastic cap. BTW, the plastic cap and the artificial "cork" are one of the few detrimental elements of this rum. It is a tight fit and I've read more than one complaint of people having the cork break apart from the plastic cap when attempting to uncork the bottle. That element of cheapness should not be present in a rum that costs $40+.
I'm easily amused.
Anyway, this rum is somewhat paradoxical for me. Very little odor in the bottle and the flavor is equally as subtle. Not sweet but really not dry either. Has some woodiness to it. I don't know how they achieved this. I don't mean this has no flavor or character because it has both but from all the rums I've sampled thus far this one is arguably the best balanced one of them all. It would make for a good sipping rum as well as a good mixer. It won't overwhelm mixed drinks but instead complements what is used whether is be fruit based, coffee, frozen or just in a cola. Definitely a "must have".
