Dillon VSOP 4-Year

Приятное знакомство с Мартиникой, достаточно насыщен, обилие трав присутствует. Но не затмевая ромовую основу. Продолжу свое знакомство с ним и дальше!

43% abv. Nice golden amber colour in the glass , I expected a lot of alcohol vapours like other recent VSOP 's. I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case. Aroma of honey or caramel , bits of vanilla and slightly fruity. Bit of a bite on entry but not unpleasant. Tastes of white fruit , honey , spice and no discernable vegetal notes. Worth a 6.5 , nice surprise.

Dillon V.S.O.P Rhum Très Vieux Réserve du Comte Arthur Dillon Tres Vieux is a full-bodied golden rhum agricole with a complex flavor profile and notes of sugar cane, caramel. Aged for at least 8 years. It still has a little smokiness, oak flavor barrel , with hints of dried fruits, spices and nougat. Dillon VSOP Rhum Très Vieux comes in a wooden box, so it is very suitable as a gift!

J ai peu de références pour comparer niveau agricole.
Je l ai trouvé assez facile à boire avec un petit côté caramel. Un corps solide et une bonne longueur.
Phénomène surprenant, à l ouverture de la bouteille ma première gorgée a été marquée très fortement par des saveurs de noix de coco. Ceci ne s est jamais reproduit par la suite.
Il a fini en mojito mais ne convient pas spécialement pour ce cocktail.

Typical taste of dark agricole rhum. Starts with oak and vanilla tones. Continues with fresh and fruity taste with tones of limes. Feels spicy in mouth. Long cinnamon finish finish.

My second taste of Martinique rum. Should've learned my lesson the first time. 1 litre of petrol is £1.10 at the moment and a better way to spend your cash.

Drink with Coke to vastly improve the flavour.. Coming from someone that hates Coke.

Quite aromatic rum on the nose dominated by spices and vanilla aromas. Easy drinking, smooth, with vanilla, almond and spices flavors. Quite nice. For everyone
