This is unique and interesting. Absolutely love it straight. I'm sure mixing this makes it more palatable for less daring drinkers, but in my humble opinion, it is wonderful by itself for more seasoned individuals not so easily overcome by a throat burn. I don't enjoy taking shots, because it bypasses too much of the experience of any alcohol. Room temperature and slow, full mouth swallows is my way to fully enjoy this gem. If you have to be reminded not to drink 160 proof alcohol too quickly, then maybe learning from that mistake will be a potent lesson.

Crazy powerful in taste and alcohol content. The taste reminds me of Jagermeister on steroids.

Do not buy this if you're looking for a rum.

Yeap, you Will have to. At least to feel the high alcool taste. There is a kind of grapes flavour or cooked fruit which is not tto bad trop what you may expect. So to be tried. I will follow the comments to try it with hot breveage. Spécial thanks to my German friend who offered it to me.

Had this years ago but my lasting memory is mixing it with coke. It tasted like butterscotch coke.

Austria has a similar tradition of making „inlander rum" (tuzemák in Czech). And these rums are not rums. They are made from any kind of spirit and artificial flavorings. Fortunately, according to EU legislative they cannot use the name "rum" anymore (there was a much ado about in Czech rep :)).
Also they cannot be rated as "rums" despite the fact some people like them. But yes – it's good for hot drinks. With some lemon, sugar, spices etc. Even milk – that makes so called Bear milk (with clove and cinnamon).

This "rum" is good only if you want to get drunk. When you open your mouth after shot, you can feel the alcohol evaporating. Really crazy. Next day strong headache and my friend was totally sick :D

This rum is madness! This is fire, it really burns! Only for mixing.
This is some epic overproof drink, hint of caramel but mostly pure alcohool.

Es un ron fuerte, muy fuerte, te acompaña en boca durante todo el dia, y solo con una copa, solo apto para gargantas fuertes !!

Well based on the name it is. Strong with strong marzipan flavour. OK with hot choko or if you want to forget one day.

Popravdě ani nevím, jak tenhle rum chutná. Piju ho jen, když potřebuju nakopnout k lepším výkonům na tanečním parketě okolo třetí hodiny ranní.
