Blend of rum from Guyana (Demerara) and Jamaica (Worthy Park) aged average 14 years, 57% ABV
I wanted this to be my favorite rum ever, 'cause c'mon, it's called Tiger Shark! On the other hand, since it isn't readily available in the USA and is a limited bottling, I was scared that it would be my favorite rum ever. As it is, it it really good. The Worthy Park influence is stronger here than the Jamaican component of the Velier Royal Navy Very Old Blend. This is very complex and there is a lot to sort out.

Aroma leather, iodine, old wood. First taste bit burning after warm and dry. Taste is mix of fruit, mineral and peach tones (similar to whisky) Aftertaste is burning, average long.

I've tried this one on festival in Poland. Really good one, nice flavour and smell. Recomended.

This Tigershark absolutely fits for purpose from my point of view, Very Old Rum slightly better than Tigershark. Blend of rums from several Caribbean distilleries, produced exclusively by cauldron distillation, which matured for an average of 13 years in bourbon barrels and subsequently blended by Luca Gargano. It is bottled at a naval strength of 57.18% and has a distinctive taste with tones of citrus, exotic fruits, wood, chocolate and spices😎

I still learning about rums.
All I know till now:I don’t like Jamaica rums.
Therefore I hesitated whether to buy a whole bottle of Tiger Shark as it is a combination of Jamaica and Guyana rums. Jamaica fruity flavors dominates. Then medical/acetone bitternes. Smell is for me more intreresting then a taste.
Glad to have only a sample.
