Abuelo Oloroso Sherry Cask 15-Year

Beautiful in the glass, nose and palate.

A little spice, caramel, vanilla, smooth, nice colour. A real surprise.

I got this as part of the tasting club membership. It has a nice nutty nose with the sherry influce. The sherry comes through on the palate as well. Nice sweetness, and makes for a good sipping rum.

A very nice rum with appropriate sweetness, several different flavors, and a decent finish. I preferred the Abuelo Two Oaks but this is a nice rum.

Fantastic rum!! Intense sweet and honey taste with a bit o smoky finish

Pleasant sherry-like aroma and a smooth and agreeable enough taste. However, I found that the sherry overtones really overpowered the flavour, to the extent that, to me, it barely even tasted like rum any more. So, overall, rather disappointing.

Silky smooth and warm, distinct flavors delicious aroma.

Sweet but not overly sweet. You definitely get some chocolate tones on the back end. This makes for a very enjoyable sipping rum. The nose has some vanilla and notes of molasses.

Embase noble en caja con forro de terciopelo. Color oscuro madera con ligeros.tintes de rubí. Olor suave. Paladar firme y seguro, alcohólico al principio y dulzón al permanecer tiempo en la boca. No auema ni pica al tragarlo. Recomendable.

The finish is very smooth but not overly sweet. It offers a good amount of sherry on the nose as well as some spice aromas.
