Nose heavy on pomelo and grapefruit, sourness on the palate. A bit heavy on abv. An interesting experience for Diplomatico lovers.

Ovocné, nasládlé, příjemné ve vůni i v chutí, velká spokojenost

At £65 per bottle of Amazon and after reading reviews on the Diplomatico range I felt the need to treat myself and am really pleased I did. Fruity, sweet, with hint of vanilla, this suited my palate perfectly. I accept maybe too sweet for some but perfect for me and not too crude. Loved it

One of the best of Diplomatico range.
Pot still rum,47%.
Aroma and taste very well balanced.Vanilla, honey and red fruits.
After not good experience with very dry rums this one contents the amount of sugar I prefere.

The smell is quite firm and woody. At the first sip there is some complexity and woody taste. Also at first it feels like some heavy Burn Will come but the Burn is actually quite moderate. The aftertaste got some subtile sweetness. I prefer the diplomatico exclusiva reserva above this one, that is more accessible in my opinion.

This is really good rum. Make no mistake. Smooth and balanced. Subtle flavors of vanilla and sugar cane. But for $80-$90 it just costs too much. I have seen it as high as $120. Come on now. I can get rum as good or better for $50-$70.

Definitely has a whisky quality from the Pot Still. This is very nice. If this was $60 I would give it an 8, maybe even a 9.

Much more complex than N1 and N2, but also nice taste.

Sweeter tones but not so much like in No.2 and also bit more complex than No.1 without any "strange" aftertaste. Anyway, good to take a sample but for me is whole Distillery collection overprice - you can get better 12y rums for the same price...

Kinda... neither one thing nor another. Smooth, very slight alcohol burn, slightly buttery, slightly fruity, everything slightly...

Rum tasting in Sofia Bulgaria started with Diplomatico Collection No. 3 Pot Still. Nice and unique bottle and label design. Dark golden color. Strong oakiness to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Dry burn at the end due to no added sugar. Rather close to the Diplomatico Collection No. 1 Rum in flavor profile.
