Sweeter than i remember though... Will drink again
Not going to lie, I like the sweeter things in life. This has a strong long lasting maple syrup flavour and very minimal burn. It's definitely a top pick!
Less smell vs Diplomatico but more taste.
Aroma of liquorice as retro-taste
This rum first smelt like gasoline. But was surprisingly sweet, hitting like a woodsy lemon and finishing like butterscotch. Much different flavours than the usual suspects in the mid-range priced rums. Refreshingly different.
A rum easily appreciated by many. Elegant and balanced aromas, suited for all occasions.
I would say that this is a sweet and rather smooth rhum. Perhaps not the best balanced however. Flavours of vanilla, butterscotch and brown sugar. Works as a sipper but do not go all the way.
Notes of brown sugar, oak and just a bit of spice - very smooth and rounded. One of the best easier sipping rums I've had. The smell is nice, but not as great as some other rums in the price class, which is why it doesn't get a 9 from me.
Sugar sugar sugar.
A bit of vanilla and oak from the younger rum but the added sugar always takes over.
A very good first rum for me. In my opinion a sweet taste of raisins.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Sweet taste of sugar, caramell, chocolate, rasines and plum.
