Very tasty rum with a beautiful caramel colour. It does not taste as mild as I expected...even a bit alcoholic, but that does not harm the exceptional taste. On top of that, smelling the flavours is a joy itself. Definitely staying in my cabinet selection. Rather between 8.0 and 8.5

Edit Note: Rated it a down a notch after trying its bigger brother, the 25 year.

color: strong tea. body is thick, oily legs
aroma: compote, fruit jam, coffee, wine-sherry,
taste: very dense, sweet, syrup. wine, dried fruits, coffee, chocolate, cocoa,
aftertaste: medium, sweet, slightly sugary

lovers of dessert rum will have to taste. Sweet rum, dense rum. With Diplomatiko reserve exclusiva they are different, but it unites that it is dessert.

Wanted to like this, better to spend a little more and get the 25 or even the 30. It taste younger than 20 to me.

Centenario in general is one of my favourite. 20YO is nice, not so so sweet, not so smokye, not so hard in the mouth. Very nice smell..... very cheep, ideal for daily drinking.....
