Only the most successful inspirations become legacies; legacies that are cherished and passed down from generation to generation. "Centuria" is our most guarded family treasure. It is the result of patience and passion for the details, embodied in our family's rum-making tradition since 1908. The taste of our legacy.

Ron muy agradable y suave, sabores persistentes de caramelos, especias tropicales. Se me hace muy similar al Roble ultra añejo
Very nice and smooth rum. Just real rum. On the same level as Havana Club 15jr but more smooth.
This is a solid rum, nice nose, mouth and decent finish. Dried dark fruits, slight tobacco. Very slight hint of sweet and is what i would call a very complex rum. I expected a bit more than what i got for my money. Would i buy it again, yes, would i pay $150? Nope maybe $75 but overall it is a tasty rum.
If you like Abuelo rums, this won't disappoint. Same deep and complex flavours but definitely one of the smoothest rums I've ever tried. A pleasure to drink!
Abuelo Centuria (30yrs) is rum, that is fine for special occasions. Not cheap, but for sure more accessible than "specialities" priced over 1000 dollars. With this price it is TOP rum aside with my other favourite rum, Non Plus Ultra.
Picked this up for upcoming trip to Charleston with the wife. Hey, it will be October, on the coast, why not rum? have some ghost tours scheduled and the presently unopened bottle of Abuelo Centuria. Rating to come!
p.s. I'm hoping for a 10!
I'm lucky to have 3 bottles of this excellent rum, which is very balanced with woody notes (oak), vanilla, caramel (slightly) and spices. And an attractive mahogany color.
Of my favorites without a doubt.
Tengo la suerte de tener 3 botellas de este excelente Ron, el cual es muy equilibrado con notas amaderadas (roble), vainilla, caramelo (ligeramente) y especias. Y un atrayente color caoba.
De mis favoritos sin duda.
I believe this is the best I ever had! Abuelo has created a unique rum!
Un señor ron, valió la pena cada uno de los $150 que pagué. Sin lugar a dudas dentro del top de mi colección solo por debajo del Millonario XO. 100% recomendado.
Very deep oakey, yet caramel flavours blend flawlessly on the initial taste. Rich fruit flavours are complimented by a lingering smokiness on the aftertaste. I have never had a dark rum make such an impact on my first encounter with it. Definitely one of the best I have ever encountered.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I got some money to burn on a special something and I decided that between a spear gun and rum I went with Ron Abuelo... Boy do I have fantastic buyers regret. I wish I could go back and return this but we'll chalk this up to lesson learned. It's too sharp and acidic almost like the bottle was left in the sun too long or something. You do get interesting flavors that linger on the tongue, but it comes at the cost of the initial burn and sharp flavor. I'm not really sure how they sell this as a $150 bottle... it taste similar to Zafra rum ($30 bottle which is good for it's price)... I'll stick with my $45 plantation XO that's far smoother and with a much better flavor profile.
P.S. I so surprised by the rum that I thought someone had switched out the bottle at the store with a cheaper one lol, I looked up pictures on the internet just to be sure I didn't get ripped off.
