I wasn’t expect much. Was quite a surpise!
Strong and clean. With some aftertaste.
Predominant taste notes of green apple.
Too good for the money.
Nothing to complain about.
If you want a decent rum for a few euros then try it.
Easy going.

I can't understand the negative reviews, to me this is a flavor bomb. The smoke of demeraran and a funk more tame and refined than anything jamaican but still very pleasant. I think it's a wonderful neat sipper. Yes the finish has a little burn that I wouldn't expect for this proof, but not nearly enough for me to dock its rating over.
Seriously, you're not going to do much better for the money.

nothing special, but good in a mixed drink, not too expensive.

Nose: sweet, medical.
Taste: not so sweet and dry, green apple, and smth else i cannot identify, like medical drugs ). Dont have spirit in your mouth, but strong enough.
Aftertaste: smooth and dry.
I would use it as a simple sipper. Good for an evening with fire and friends.. ))

This is a really good, dry, underappreciated rum. Simple and well crafted. I think it's aged ~5 years.

Doesn’t seem that flavourful when dipped on its own (and I wouldn’t call it a good sipping rum.) However, complements a rum and coke really nicely if you’re looking for something different from a standard mixing rum. Not bad.

I have had this bottle for a long time but had forgotten about it. I am now drinking the last shot and it's time to rate. Nothing outstanding here for a dry rum but it shows quality without additives. I will have to try the older forgotten casks bottle, thinking that all this needs is more age. This does make an outstanding rum and Coke. $40 @ LCBO

Solid but they make a lot better runs. And even better beer are using their barrels.

N- Soft, fresh cut grass, chocolate, molasses with tinge of turned earth, breezy and light note between ripe and green mango. Neither with much good nor bad that stays right at the edge, Thought had a sip would improve the aroma greatly with more pleasant molasses and vanilla emerged. (86/20)

P- Neutral and authentic without being heavily "chaptalized". Candlewax, ripe fruit and pleasant mouth coat. Not with much characters, but you can't dislike it either. (86/20)

F- Medium, dry, unexpected waxy sour fruit cling at the back palate. (86/20)

B/B- 85/19, all good but wee light and lack structure.
