All around quality rum. Drink it on the rocks before you try to mix it.
Strong.Bottle easy to pour.

Very nice flavor with a little alcohol kick. You can't beat the price.
Are in flavor interesant, afetrtaste medium, arome seci.
Intersant.. Un pic amarui, spirtos și usor acid. Crd ca in mixuri se primește mai bine decât "on the rocks". Arome de ciocolata neagra persistentă și pe aftertaste.

Great bottle, colour and initial aroma.
The smell is almost sweet, which is unusual considering it is NOT a sweet rum. It is generally a very good price (although premium+ price here in Australia as it is a rare find and not easy to get) for what you get. A very solid sipping rum for those who prefer a dry "old school" style rum that doesn't cater to the more popular overly sweet palate.
If you see it in your local store it is definitely worth a try!
Great example of its origin. I love to use it when introducing the scale of tastes rums are capable of. (I work as a bartender in rum/whisky bar in Prague).
"Buttery, nuttiness hits me and washes over my tongue in waves. It’s magical stuff..."

The nose is classically Bajan.
"It leaves notes of oak, nuts and smokiness behind in the finish which is long and pleasant. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum is quite good. On the nose gives warm sweet molasses and light fruity vanilla. Arrives richly sweet and spicy developing vanilla sweet mild pepper and rich mouth. Finish is fairly long, bittersweet and oaky. Aftertaste does show bitterness and is quite drying. A gentle note for the purists among us, it does contain a hint (5g) of sugar per litre and is coloured with E150 - see the German site drinkology.de for confirmation. In fairness I've yet to find a rum or a brandy that didn't have some colour added. A fair effort overall and fairly priced too.
