Pyrat XO Reserve

Pyrat je opravdu kvalita, chutnej, ovocnej, dobrej rum. Je trošku dražší ale nezklame.

I like this bottle, it is nice rum with orange flavour, not so sweet.Cool rum !

I really struggled with this one. When I first opened the bottle, it had a very strong artificial orange smell that (like others mentioned) smelled like a cheap cleaner. I wasn't impressed, so it just sat in my collection for over a year... This time when I tried it, the orange smell was almost gone! So... my review of an opened / aged bottle: This rum has a rich amber colour with strong orange overtones. It has a fairly strong alcohol smell, and tastes a bit strong, but doesn't burn. It is a very unique tasting rum, with a slight "orange candy" flavour. While OK straight, it made an excellent, nice/different rum and cola! Not so bad after all.

It bought this rum not knowing what it was i just liked the style of the bottle but when i first tasted it was not as bad as other people say it is but not that great to other than orange i could'nt tell you a other flavor but my uncle who tasted with me who is by the way a big scotch drinker liked it alot and even ask for second glass. Second time trying pyrat and listen to one of the user and let the rum breath and in less then 10 min the smell and taste change for the best it's a very weird change but a good one.

I would recommend this fruity citrus to everybody who likes sweeter and fruity rums. Enjoy it alone or in cocktail.

Very specific combination of so much citrus (in nose and the mouth) and still pretty harsh taste gives personality to this rum and I like that. It is very easy to describe to others yet its not boring to drink.

Ozaj dochuť po pomarančoch, veľmi dobrý na večer za jeden-dva...

I enjoy this rum and think it's actually pretty smooth. On the rocks (I use a lot of ice) I find a slight hint of grapefruit (most here say it's orange) and think it's sips great.
