Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

This rum is very subtle in its flavor and on the nose. It has a kind of dried apricot and honey-esque sweetness I have not noticed in other rums. I would only ever drink this neat.

One of the best rums I have ever drunk. vanilla, spices, coconut and wood. On the nose it is perfectly balanced. Sweet but not as sweet as Zacapa and other Solera rums
Wonderful rum for a long after-dinner meal with cigars and friends.
Smooth and soft, great value for its price.
Vanilla, caramel, coconut on the nose, and the taste is parallel with it with long aftertaste.
Sweet, but well balanced rum.

Superbly smooth and easy drinking. Smooth on the palate with hints of vanilla and molasses. A must have on your shelf.
Very good, but it has to sit in your glass a few minutes. Definitely a bite

Sooo good. One of my top 3. So easy to drink. Vanilla, cinnamon. A bit sweet. Soooooft. Smooth. Delicate. So drinkable.
Aroma: Hints of spicy oak with guava, some coconut flour and dried banana.
Taste: Spicy, creamy at the beginning, with notes of sweet vanilla and caramel. Oak spices.
This is better rum for me https://trunk.sk/p/plantation-xaymaca-43-07l/

This is a very nice rum, excelent to begin with in the rum world to say so. It's not too sweet, smooth, with a very pleasent aftertaste.
I recommend it!

Solid rum good neat, in an old fashioned style or in a cocktail.
It tastes pretty much like a coconut liqueur.
"An overly sweet saccharin note which make the rum taste artificial. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum is ridiculously smooth. It’s smoother than drinking water. It has a very velvety sensation and perfectly balanced aromas. The first time I tried it it blew me away.
01/2021 After over 60 rums one had to get dropped down and as great as this is it just doesn’t compete with the other tens anymore
