Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

Kiválóan sikerült ital, ami az árkategóriájában szerintem a legjobb.

Normally, not the biggest fan of plantation rums, but this one will always be in my cabinet.

Very cool bottle (high class look), not too strog, smooth and sweet to sip. For this price very good rum

One of the first aged Rums I bought and recently tasted vs other aged Rums. There a re a couple for cheaper I like more however this is a great sipper!

In the same way that Australian and New Zealand wine producers shocked the French into re-evaluating how things should be done, Alexandre Gabriel and his French Plantation company have made the bums of old rum distillers purse up a bit.
This Barbadian rum is very good indeed. Perhaps a little too sweet, but hey.

Nemozem povedat, ze je to to najlepsie, co som kedy ochutnal, ale je to rum, ktory nikdy neodmietnem a vzdy ohuri navstevu :) Krasne balenie, krasna flaska a podarilo sa mi ho raz kupit v akcii za 32 eur,co je naozaj topka. Nie som typ cloveka, ktory v rume citi telciu kozu a dalsich 28 prichuti, bud mi rum chuti, alebo nie a bud si ho este niekedy kupim, alebo nie. Tento mi chuti a este si ho kupim :) citit tu hlavne kokos a rum je lahsi, nepali v krku a nema vyraznu alkoholovu chut a ani vonu, pije sa prijemne. Dalsie plus je, ze nie je presladeny. Odporucam vsetkym, ktori zacinaju s pitim rumu :)

My wife likes the sweet rums (and I like Ardbeg 10), but this one is really nice. Sweet but smooth and fruity. I taste pineapple, coconut and banana, but not artificial and sirupy. Really tasty. It's nice to switch from scottish island to tropical island from time to time.

This Plantation XO 20th anniversary has a distinct flavour profile. The nose is clean with a beautiful limoncello like citrus sweetness. There’s a touch of peppermint after time in the glass. Beautifully clean nose
The palate is silky smooth again with vanilla citrus sweetness. There’s a subtle spiciest at the end.

The finish is med long silky smooth with more vanilla citrus, but a touch some oaky spiciness coming through just after you swallow.

Really like this rum. The tastes of coconut and banana are in my opinion unique, but maybe thats just me
