Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.

The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Those who are against adding sugar to rum post-distillation will be the ones that don't fancy Plantation XO. If you appreciate when a distillery does so with good taste and finesse, then you will more than likely find this to be an exceptional tasting. Have it neat, with a little water or ice, or in an old-fashioned. Lots of tropical fruit notes and a rich, caramelized depth. Baja style taken under French influence for blending and bottling (they traditionally add sugar when they bottle cognac).

I guess there are better ones out there - hence the 9. But I really like this one. In terms of quality vs price ratio, it's very good. Highly recommended.

Complex with many tropical flavours slight sweetness is overtaken by harsh finish.
Disappointed after reading previous reviews as although this is an exceptional rum it is, in my opinion, let down by the cognac finish.
Much better rum available at lower price point.

I think it is quite good to drink. Not to complex but with very good flavors to it.

It is truly one of the best for the price. A real winner with all my rum tasting buddies. Smooth to smell, lots of nose notes, silk over the tongue and all the way down. No alcohol smell or taste. You can not go wrong with this!

Well this is the first time i got this rum as a b-Day present from the wife! Must say this is a fantastic and tasty rum with nice taste of banana, coconut and vanilla, the wood from the aging barrels gives him a smooth and warm taste! This is my new favorite!

Probablement le meilleur rhum qui existe. Son goût de coco ne laisse pas indifférent mais il peut déplaire aux amateurs de rhum plus fumé
