Plantation 2004 Haiti Single Cask

Honiggelbes Bernstein im Glas.
In der Nase weisse Früchte etwas Karamell und harziges Holz.
Im Gaumen karamellisierte weisse Trauben mit etwas Schärfe, etwas Schokolade und elegante Holztöne.
Im Abgang schön lang, Karamell und Schokolade mit Früchten.
Ein genialer Rhum Agricole für Geniesser.
Hatte leider nur ein Muster.

Honey-yellow amber in the glass.
In the nose white fruits some caramel and resinous wood.
In the palate caramelized white grapes with some spiciness, some chocolate and elegant wood tones.
In the finish nicely long, caramel and chocolate with fruits.
A brilliant Rhum Agricole for connoisseurs.
Unfortunately had only one sample.

Décevant comme rhum de dégustation, ne vaut pas son prix.

Never had a bad plantation and liking the variety they seem to be providing. Talked into this one due to the Curaçao casks used, as I will be visiting later this year. There is a definite whiskey vibe to it, but subtle, with the familiar plantation smoothness. Lightly smoky, some typical sweetness but not much. Nice rocks drink
