Perhaps one of the better rums in its price level. Sweet, but also with a bit of a alcohol bite. Still, nicely balanced.

Fruity flavours, pineapple was predominant and really smooth.

I prefer this served chilled. Excellent sipping rum, fruity taste.

I have to admit that I'm not much of a sipper, but this rum is very nice in a rum old-fashioned with demerara syrup, water, orange bitters and a muddle orange. Just hot enough and beautiful vanilla notes that really merge well with the orange bitters and muddle fruit. Not easy to find here in northern New Jersey, but I do keep an eye out.

PeknΓ‘ svojskΓ‘ fΔΎaΕ‘a s tradičnΓ½m uzlovanΓ½m opletom, pravΓ½ korok v hrdle, farba svetlΓ‘, s oranΕΎovΓ½m nΓ‘dychom. Vôňa je svieΕΎa a prΓjemnΓ‘, v pozadΓ zΔΎahka cΓtiΕ₯ citrusy. Palec hore.

A good aged rum. As good as nearly all Plantation offerings I’ve had.

Good strong rum. Not a favourite of mine. Strong alcohol flavour, less spices

The young brother of XO, who doesn't have to worry about his quality. It is a pleasant combination of taste, aroma and sweetness.

Good looking bottle, nice cork, good nose, little funk, good mixer.

Plantation Barbados 5 can keep your guns blazing while you head to the Rum Dump for more big gun ammo. I'll still pour this Plant offering on the rocks. It's saved me on more than one vacation when Bobo has no 20 for the Big KINhuna.
