A good Barbados rum. Banana, coconut and some spice. Balanced but a little sweet.
Drank this rum as a part of the green rum box. Tried it neat, like all of the rums from the box. I don't think it's meant to be drank neat. Would do perfectly well as a mixer though.
This is probably blasphemous, but trying this next to the Doorly XO and 12, I almost want to give it to this rum. Almost. Different flavor profiles. This has less fruit notes and more hints of dark butterscotch and caramel. This rum has an added dosage, and you can tell, so if you don't like the hint of added sweetness, then this may not be for you but I absolutely love this. Maybe if the added sugar was half of what it is, it would be perfect. For now, I'll leave it a very strong 8. I suspect this will be a staple on my shelf for long time. Definitely easy to sip. Also can't wait to mix with this.
Beginner here. Sweet and easy on the throat. Blacked out to a measuring cup of the stuff -- woke up with no hangover. That's a win in any book.
Little brother of the Plantation XO.
Sweet with hints of vanilla, caramel and coconut.
Great for sipping. Good choice for a starter.
The color and transparency of the liquid promises a spicy and thin rum and it delivers.Taste is indeed nice and spicy and not too sweet ! Very distinct.
I personally found the aftertaste to have too much alcohol in the forefront, but it certainly is not bad.....I think a couple more years of aging or blending could temper this.
This is tolerable straight, would be a great mixer and is priced decently for what it is.
I love this rum. Very good over ice and frozen cherries 🍒
this rum is very fresh and cirspy tasting. very good barbados rum
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
