Fantastic price (19.99 in my region), Nice 1L bottle size. fruity and makes a great mixer. love getting a couple bottles of these for mixing.
I'm not a big fan of white rums, but this one i can drink. By far the best one that i tried.
Plantation did a really good work. Quite smooth with some sweetness. Excellent Price/Quality (14€).
Thought this would be a lot lighter to drink but actually taste like a real plantation :)
No way could this be white rum if you sipped with your eyes covered I was not expecting that .......smoooth as hell coming from the Caribbean noooo mix for me which i usually do with white rums
Smoooth and easy sipping ... I had 2 bottle and i gave one to a fellow rum head like myself and I wanted it back LOL
normaly I don't like white rums but that....that is really good. very smooth, good taste and nice finish. Color is not like white...little bit darker so maybe that's the reason why is so good.
Really smooth, non-agressive. I'am a pirate love dark, anejo, hardcore rums, but this one blow me up! It's a master for any cola drinks with lemon, orange, banana. He is not white! He is a barely desert-color. This is good friend for any parties with friends who don't know what a huge kingdom is good rum. Good for everyday drinks. Regards Pirate!
Not usually a white rum guy but this was very good!
Can I say that in a review? I don't care - I'm saying it. How on earth this is a $20 rum I'll never understand.
Don't be fooled by the color. This is actually an aged gold rum that has been filtered. While this does remove some of the flavor and puts it more in line with a silver rum, it's the best "silver" rum you've ever had in your life, hands-down. It's got oak, and spice, and tobacco and vanilla; it's all just a bit more muted than you're used to in a blended aged rum (which is what this actually is). In a pinch it's good enough to drink straight, and it absolutely sings when you use it wherever you'd normally use a silver rum. Try it in a daquiri and then start calling your friends to see who wants to take all your other half-used bottles of silver rums off your hands.
For the price. If you're looking for a white rum to mix with you can't go wrong with this one. Not the best I've had, but in the top half of white runs I've tried for sure.
Drink rum men en väldigt bra sådan....................
It’s mainly a nose of strong alcohol.
"Initially it sips quite well and is reasonably smooth but it is has a very strong taste when swallowed."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum came at me as a gift at a party, and it tastes like a surprise gift indeed. Plantation crafts delicious rums in general, so I was curious what this was about, as I'd had their aged and blends previously around and above this price point. After trying lots of Jamaican rums in the last couple months, I was taken aback with how similarly this tasted. A tinge sweet upfront, but that subsides while you get to enjoy the quick tour of flavors representative of the spirits this is blended from (as I'd later find out: Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad.).
This makes a great entry into any of these three distinctive styles for someone curious about them. It's not too much of any single one, so if Jamaican funk turns you off, you might like the touch this one lends to the palate. It's good neat, but great in a punch, and probably needs the touch of fruit juice to really set it off. This could easily become a go-to white mixer for the home bar... I prefer em 50% or stronger, but the flavor is good enough here to carry a potent cocktail as a base with stride.
