Pampero Aniversario was first crafted in 1963 to commemorate the Pampero company’s 25th anniversary. The rum is a blend of rums ranging in maturity from four to six years and aged in whisky and bourbon barrels.
The Pampero distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernández of Venezuela in 1938. The brand is now a division of the world’s largest liquor holding company, Diageo.

Great zipper that i really enjoy. Problem however is that the bottle always end up empty the same night
Was looking for a good bottle of rum when staying with a friend. The selection at the local liquor store didn't include some of my favorites, but it did have this one. Neither of us had tried it before so decided to give it a shot. The dark color and leather bag it comes in makes it look pretty special and I had high hopes. However, the taste doesn't live up to the image I'm afraid. It's not bad, but I found it a little harsh (too much burn) and spicier than I like. It's not bad as a mixer - cola and ice - but depending on what you mix it with, it may cut through a little too much.

No co k tomu naspat, asi si to tu 6 zaslouží. Prý šla poslední dobou kvalita dolů. Já ho pil naposledy v roce 2017.

Its just average tasty. Little bit of added sugar makes this sweet but the flavour is pretty much take it or leave it. Its an easy sipper and you will be satisfied with it, but so many better rums out there. Only purchased because of a run out sale and will not re-stock at any price.

Brush me barnacles! This rum took a hot minute to suss out. On the nose, there be the standard oak-caramel-vanilla triumvirate, but also be a bit of spice and a hint of some sort of fruit that fetches me up for daft. On the tongue, she not be as sweet as she smells, but not DRY. Aye! There be a lot goin’ on with this one! She comes on board as clean and bold - exactly what I appreciates in a rum AND a woman - but she quickly shows herself as a spiced caramel flavor with just a hint of chocolate to it. Just when you think you’ve seen all she has to offer, she pulls a scotchy peat flavor from her nether regions! Sneaky peat! The finish be a wee bit bitter, but nothin’ too offensive. There be a slight burn goin’ down the hatch, but if you weren’t expectin’ that, why in Flint’s name are you drinkin’ rum? Arrgh! Anyhoo… this be a dandy sippin’ rum. Keep her away from the crew, mates!

This rum Can be used for drinks. But if u like rum straight and with no ice og course. (Rum joke) aka u never drink Them with ice. Then this rum is at a Price where ur Wallet Can handle it, and it tastes Well.

Very dark colour I presume from added caramel ? Typical honey sweet smell , bit of alcohol bite at the start but smoothes of quite quickly in the mouth. A nice finish and a very pleasant after taste. Hoping I ll enjoy more with each tasting. So 7.5 for the rum and 0.5 for the leather bag , nice touch.
