Pampero Blanco is a rum brand established in Venezuela in 1938. It is distilled from Venezuelan sugarcane, aged for up to 2 years, and charcoal-filtered resulting in a clear and crisp rum. The company has a history of environmental sustainability and supports local communities. The ABV of Pampero Blanco is 40%. The rum is produced in Venezuela and is aged in a warm climate which accelerates the aging process.

Bit spirity and a few uninteresting notes. Other then that some really interesting tastes as well as being a fun change to your normal rum n'cokes.
One of the best silver and cheap rum for mix, balanced and good taste, not agressive, perfect to made a lot of rums mixed drinks, I was used like a barman and I'll did it again
One of the best i've taste in a cocktail! Very nice taste! Enjoy!
In Italy this is a very popular rum and it's cheapest than Bacardi/Havana.
You will often find it in night clubs and bars that make a lot of drinks.
A mixing rum that is still better than discount bottles.
Prefer something else.
A very nice rum comapared to Bacardi! This one beat it.
Use it for mixed in drinks.
This one doesn't have much flavor when sipped neat, but there's nothing unpleasant either. It has a slight afterburn, but it's not uncomfortable. It makes quite a nice Daiquiri and Mojito. My go-to white rum at the moment.
I really like the Pampero Blanco rum for mixers and cocktails! It's a very good choice because it's not too sweet and keeps its strength in the mouth.
The nose starts with a waft of vodka-like alcohol, then after resting down in the glass for a while, notes of nuts, butter and citrus fruits come up. The taste is simple, starts sweet, then comes the middle with hints of butter and tropic fruits and minimalistic finish with a bit of nuts, all quite smooth and mild. Solid mixer for a budget price, but somehow it is not as entertainig for me as mixers from Cuba, Panama or Puerto Rico which can be mixed with almost anything - this one goes well with fruit juices, but not so well with coke.

There is a sweet “butteriness” to this.
"It’s quite refreshing and the lightness of it is a bit like a sorbet. It’s quite a palate cleanser."

Ron Pampero Blanco from Venezuela 7 out of 10
A tasty and economical white rum for mixing. Apparently Venezuelan law requires rum be aged a minimum of two years which helps to make it mellow.
