I was rather underwhelmed by this offering. The nose has a bit of vanilla and alcohol. The palate has a mild sweetness and vanilla that diminishes quickly to the heat of the rum. The finish is medium and a bit of burn. Overall, not bad. Not my choice as a sipper by any means but makes a very nice mojito. The price of around $30 a bottle hurts the value of this rum. There are others that are as good or better for less. I'm glad I tried it, but won't buy a second bottle at that price.

This rum may be good for mixed drinks and daiquiri mixes but not straight sipping. I thought it lacked character and tastes more like a mild vodka, which ONO is working on next btw. Little insider info from the tour.
