Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-Year

A decent rum with good flavor. A little burny, when you sip. The harshness overpowers the flavors. I wound up using it as a mixer.

There is nothing special about this - to much alcohol in nose.

I did not have big expectations from this one so it was solid suprise at the end. Aroma of vanilla, sugar cane and oak. In mouth has full body with flavours of vanilla, fruit and oak. Alcohol burn at the end.

Para un ron con tanto nombre esperaba más, esos 15 años no los he encontrado los tonos son bastante sutiles y el alcohol se nota bastante, por los 17'50 que pagué esperaba más

I didn't like the taste of the rum. It was to sweet.

An average rum. Not something to remember. If theres nothing to drink its a safe choice.

Cuban rums have not been my best match for me but this has been just ok

Tried the 8 year and wasn’t impressed but the 15 year us spectacular! Smooth and flavorful. Mild hints of vanilla. Highly recommend.

legnoso.... anche lasciandolo riposare non perde l’ odore forte di alcool. preferisco i rum piu dolci.

Strong smell of alcohol, vanilla is so strong that it feels sweet, very sweet, which is strange, because all hygrometer test results were 0. Vanilla flavor might be artificial. The finish is very flat. It is pleasant in the mouth if you like a vanilla taste (which I don't).
